For our last evening before Lockdown Part II, Angèle and Dua Lipa take us to London’s heart to forget for a moment the constraints of our everyday life. The British pop star and the young Belgian prodigy unite for a surprise duo, released on October 30th. Fever is an ode to partying, which seems so far away from us at the moment. The two artists, who were able to discover many common points during this collaboration (their passion for dogs for example!) deliver us a pop, energetic and dancing track. Directed by Clément Durou and Pierre Dupaquier (behind the Happy video by Pharell Williams), Angèle and Dua Lipa wander through London, notably in Shoreditch, in the north-east of the British capital. So after-party or real evening beginning? The night doesn’t seem ready to end for our two companions, who wander between meetings with energy through the city.
“We played out this fantasy of going out that we used to be, partying with our best friends, living the moment to the fullest, nothing else to worry about,” Dua explained. Resolutely safe and above all 100% feminine, Fever is the assurance of “being surrounded by women, which makes situations so much safer, especially in the evening“. To define these festivities, Angèle explains that Fever “shows two young women in the street, having fun, not asking any questions. As we know, times are difficult and it is also a dream.” A rhythmic dream that will remind us of our endless evenings … Until we can live them again.
