Lollapalooza: Focus on NEKFEU

After the massive success of his movie called “Les Étoiles Vagabondes” (The Wandering Stars) last Thursday and of his new album which shares the same name, Nekfeu (Seine Zoo Records, Polydor/Universal Music) surprises us once again! He will be joining the French edition of the American festival Lollapalooza, in Paris on the 21st of July. Our favorite Parisian will be back on the main stage of the festival one year after his first visit at the Hippodrome de Longchamp. A good opportunity to perform some of his biggest bangers such as « Martin Eden » or « Saturne » without forgetting the soon to be hits from his newest album (can you tell that we are so impatient to hear « Menteur Menteur » and « Tricheur » live?!) Speaking of which, “Les Étoiles Vagabondes” went straight to the first place of every chart following the heavy mobilization of his fans after Nekfeu announced his new project: a one only screening type of movie, set to be projected in a hundred theaters in France and abroad. This impressive marketing campaign has resulted in a never seen before kind of gathering: assembling over 100,000 people in a hundred theaters, all at the same time!

Nekfeu, Les Etoiles Vagabondes – Trailer

The production is all Nekfeu’s, accompanied by Syrine Boulanouar one of his closest friend who is behind the camera, and it transports us all in a swirl of emotions. The movie takes us back to the behind the scene of his third album and him finalizing it. From Japan to LA, passing by New Orleans and of course Paris, we can see a Ken Samaras – his real name-  being doubtful, nostalgic, lost in thoughts but also determined, curious and most of all, at his best creatively speaking. A beautiful story told by the artist himself and with “Cheum”, “Takotsubo” and “Tricheur” (ft Damso) as the soundtrack, all from his new project “Les Étoiles Vagabondes”, now available under Seine Zoo Records and Polydor:
